Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide analytics to site owners. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called "first-party cookies"; cookies set by other parties are called "third-party cookies."
2. Cookies We Use
We use only strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-* | Supabase | Authentication session — stores your login state so you remain signed in across page navigations | Session / 1 week |
These cookies are first-party cookies set on the calux.io domain. No personal data beyond your session token is stored in them.
3. Cookies We Do Not Use
Calux does not use:
- Analytics or tracking cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar)
- Advertising or retargeting cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads)
- Social media tracking cookies
- Cookies that monitor your behaviour across third-party websites
4. Third-Party Cookies
Calux loads fonts via Next.js's built-in font optimization (next/font/google), which downloads Google Fonts to our servers at build time. Font files are served directly from calux.io — your browser never contacts Google's font servers at runtime, and no third-party cookies are set as a result.
We do not embed any other third-party scripts or widgets on our public-facing pages that would result in third-party cookies being placed on your device.
5. How to Control Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The links below provide instructions for the most common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Please note that disabling the authentication cookie (sb-*) will prevent you from logging in to the Calux dashboard. The public-facing website (homepage, blog, pricing) functions without cookies.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we add new technologies or services. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email.
